- That God will empower us to do the work of the ministry.
Acts 14:1-3 New Living Translation
1 The same thing happened in Iconium. Paul and Barnabas went to the Jewish synagogue and preached with such power that a great number of both Jews and Greeks became believers. 2 Some of the Jews, however, spurned God’s message and poisoned the minds of the Gentiles against Paul and Barnabas. 3 But the apostles stayed there a long time, preaching boldly about the grace of the Lord. And the Lord proved their message was true by giving them power to do miraculous signs and wonders.
Acts 4:29-31 New Living Translation
29 And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. 30 Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
31 After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.
The church needs to operate in the power of God. The church needs the power of God to be made known and subsequently proven right. The message we preach and live is simply Jesus. This year let the nay-sayers be silenced by the undeniable power of God doing miraculous things in our gatherings.
May we boldly preach, teach, mentor and love unashamedly. In the midst of opposition, God always proves himself. Filled us Lord!!!
Believe for it - AND - receive it.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
nMark 11:23 KJV

nNotice that Jesus said to say to the mountain to “be removed.” Jesus did not tell us to speak to the mountain and say, “I will never get over you.” Everybody talks about the mountain, but only a few people talk to it and tell it what to do.
