Devotional: The blood of Jesus is not a relic of ancient religion. It is the living foundation of your freedom. Before the cross, innocent animals bore the weight of human sin as a temporary covering, pointing forward to the day God himself would become the final sacrifice. Jesus did not stumble into death. He walked willingly toward the cross, carrying every sin, every shame, and every broken place you have ever known. That blood still speaks. It still cleanses. It still transforms. Whatever has marked your past, the blood of Jesus is sufficient to cover it completely. Do not take lightly what cost God everything.
