Day 14

  • Jan 18:  That we will continue being a church that equips the saints.

In 2026 may the church be strong because believers are in their called position.

Hebrews 13:20-21 New Living Translation
20 Now may the God of peace—
who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus,
the great Shepherd of the sheep,
and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—
21 may he equip you with all you need
    for doing his will.
May he produce in you,[a]
through the power of Jesus Christ,
every good thing that is pleasing to him.
All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.

He is the one who equips - we must stay close to Jesus
He is the one who empowers - we must allow Him to fill us
All glory is to Him

May we experience together this year an abundance of equipping, empowering and glory given to Jesus.

Ephesians 4:11-16
New Living Translation
11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

May we grow up into Christ - children are easily influenced.  We will stay true to His word, speaking truth in love and becoming more like Christ.

No more spiritual temper tantrums

May we be full of His truth
May we each do our part in His work

May we be healthy, growing and helping others fulfill their calling in the body of Christ.

See you all very soon,
P Richie
