Jan 19: For the Children’s Ministry leaders and teachers
“One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.”
Matthew 19:13-15 NLT ref Matthew 18:1-6
When you drop your children off at the kids check ins they are taken care of, spiritually and physically. Ministering to children is extremely important to us. We believe it’s a staple of our church. For this, the enemy comes after this department. However we are victorious because Christ is victorious. Take a moment today and lift up in prayer the children’s ministry leaders and teachers.
What we can learn from this scripture passage
Humility and dependence on Jesus are defining points in regard to those who the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to. There is no room in God’s kingdom for self.
Have a great day today and remember to prioritize Jesus in every way.
From the bottom of my heart, Cindy and I love you all.

Yes! BRING the children to Jesus! Don’t let them decide when and if they want to. You are the parent! Take control of your child before Satan does!
Heavenly Father,
nI come to You today with a heart full of a Nanny’s love—the kind of love that wants nothing but the very best of Your Kingdom for these precious children. I am so grateful for the leaders and teachers at Crossroads Kids who are already so full of Jesus and pour His light into our little ones every week.
nFor the Children’s Hearts and Presence:
nLord, I pray for every child who walks through those doors. For those coming from happy, loving homes and especially for those who might be coming from a difficult week, I ask that they would feel a "shift" the moment they walk in. Let them feel the pure, unmistakable presence of the Holy Spirit. Open their hearts wide to hear Your Word, and let them experience the deep, personal love You have for them in a way that changes them forever.
nFor Boldness in the Community:
nFather, I ask that You would set a fire in these children! Give them a boldness beyond their years to be witnesses for You. When they go to school or play with friends, let Your light shine through them so clearly that other kids want to know what they have. Use them to draw in the children in our community who haven't yet been introduced to this amazing ministry.
nFor the Leaders and Teachers:
nLord, I thank You for the Spirit that already fills these leaders. I pray that as they serve, they would feel Your love flowing right back into them. Give them a supernatural energy boost and a refreshed spirit as they do the vital work of raising up young disciples. Let their time at Crossroads be the highlight of their week, filled with the joy of the Kingdom.
nThank You, Lord, for letting me be a part of their journey and for the blessing of this ministry.
nIn Jesus’ name, Amen.
