Day 20

Jan 24: •That God will raise up more leaders among us to do His work.

Ephesians 4:11-13 New King James Version
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [a]edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

Matthew 9:38 New King James Version
38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Leaders/laborers/workers/servants - remember Jesus picked 12, He sent out 70 and He came to serve not to be served.  Let’s get to work.  The harvest is among us.

See you at prayer this morning at 9am

In this together,

P Richie

As I conclude these 21 days, the focus on Ephesians 4:11-13 and Matthew 9:38 resonates deeply with my personal calling. I have been praying for increased responsibility in witnessing and sharing the Gospel, as the "harvest" is truly all around us. I feel blessed and it is fitting that tomorrow is my birthday starting a new year off around the sun in intense prayer, praise, worship and fasting.

nMy Journey and Growth

nThe last 2.5 years at Crossroads have been a season of immense spiritual growth. Even through the trials—including the transition of my grandson, Elijah, to Alabama—I have remained steadfast. It brings me great joy to see how sharing our family’s journey of faith and Elijah’s love for scripture online has touched the hearts of those who previously had no walk with God.

nHeart for the Ministry

nMy heart is fully committed to the Crossroads family. While I have felt some growing pains as a "new" member—experiencing some initial pushback and a sense of not being fully accepted by everyone in certain leadership circles—God has given me peace and healing. I want to emphasize that many women, specifically Pam, Carolyn Jacobs, Maude, Kristineand the sisters who sit with me on the right side of the church, have been absolutely lovely and supportive.

nMoving Forward in Faith

nThough I am also active with the prayer team at Radiant in Clearwater, I feel God brought me to Crossroads for a specific purpose that is still unfolding. I am eager to be a bigger part of this body and hope the leadership can see the vision God has placed on my life to serve this family.

nI originally planned to be back in Alabama by now, but God has kept me here in Florida through this current storm. I am waiting for His "green light," but until then, I am here, I am ready to work, and I look forward to seeing what He does next.
