Week 3: Occupy Until I Come

Today, Jesus is going to challenge the way we think about waiting. Too often we think waiting means sitting still, but in God’s Kingdom, waiting is never passive. In Luke 19, Jesus reveals that while we are waiting for the King’s return, we have been entrusted with His resources, empowered by His Spirit, and commissioned with His mission. This parable isn’t just about Christ’s return—it’s about how we are to live until He comes. By the end of this message, I want every one of us to answer one question: “What has Jesus placed in my hands, and what am I doing with it?”
