BEHIND THE BATTLE: THE BLOCKADES OF THE ENEMY
This is a four-week series designed to help us recognize the spiritual and personal obstacles that try to keep us from following Jesus faithfully for a lifetime. Building from The Way Forward and the call to “Follow Him Forever,” we will expose four blockades the enemy uses to hinder discipleship—deception, compromise, misplaced affection, and discouragement—and learn how to overcome them through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The mission of this series is not to make us more focused on the enemy, but to make us more aware, more discerning, more surrendered, more Spirit-formed, and more determined to follow Jesus. We want people to recognize what is trying to stop their spiritual growth, respond to it biblically, and keep taking their next step with Jesus. The battle is real—but Jesus is greater, and nothing has to stop us from following Him forever.
