Day 14

What's in your cup?

In the sermon today we asked a very deep question.  We asked, "What are you full of?" Simply explained... whatever is inside you will make its way to the front.  Sometimes tragedy reveals it, sometimes trouble reveals it, sometimes offenses reveal it.  We call those things the rub of life.  People get mad at others when the "bump" into them because of how they make you feel and react, but is the problem them or you?  Tough question this early on Monday but its time we take inventory of our actions and make sure they align with the Lord and his attributes.  We should full of Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness, Love just to name a few.  Because whatever is inside is what you give.  So let's give the things that we hav received from God.

During this fast, ask the Lord to reveal anything inside of you that displeases Him.  Ask Him to correct it and then you live in that!!!
Matthew 12:33-37 New King James Version (NKJV)
A Tree Known by Its Fruit
33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood[a] of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.35 A good man out of the good treasure [b]of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
